AI in Papiri

Your agent. Your data. Work that moves forward.

Already working with an AI agent? Connect a compatible agent to Papiri through MCP. Or speak with Vid in the app. Both draw on business data and document processing — from collection to preparing accounting entries.

Preparing for public access

01 — MCP

Work through the agent that suits you.

MCP connects your compatible AI agent to Papiri. Business data and supported actions become part of the environment where you already work. You choose the question, task and workflow.

  1. Your agent
  2. MCP
  3. Papiri

A connection to business data and actions, through the capabilities Papiri supports.

Reading data

Request business data and use it in a conversation, analysis or the next step of your work.

Supported actions

The connection also includes actions that change data. Your agent can carry out a supported business step following your instruction.

Your workflow

For example, find a previous sales invoice in dinars, review its items and request a new draft with a date or amount you specify. The draft is ready for review and approval. You choose how to connect these steps.

02 — Vid

Ask. Give an instruction. Get on with your work.

Vid is the AI assistant in Papiri for voice conversations on the web and your phone. Ask for business information or say what needs doing, in ordinary language, at your computer or on the move.

When a document lacks business context, Vid asks a follow-up question. You know why you incurred the expense; you do not need to know the ledger account.

Example questions

  • What is my account balance?
  • What do I need to do?

Example instruction

Approve this invoice.

03 — Document processing

Reading a receipt is where the work begins.

A photo, imported file or forwarded email brings a document into the same business workflow. OCR extracts text; Papiri connects data, document type and business context with preparation for accounting.

  1. Collection

Photograph a receipt, import a document or forward an email with an attachment.

  2. Data and classification

Papiri reads the data and recognises the document and expense type.

  3. Business context

When an important fact is missing, a clear question helps collect it.

  4. Preparing entries

Data and context inform accounting treatment, ledger account selection and a proposed entry.

  5. Configured review

Further review and approval follow the configured workflow.

A fuel receipt

You photograph the receipt. Papiri recognises the expense and prepares it for accounting. Data on paper becomes part of your business records, instead of waiting in your pocket.

A restaurant receipt

Was the dinner personal or for business?

For business, with a business partner.

The text on a receipt does not say who you dined with. Vid can also ask about the participants, so the collected context accompanies the document through further processing.

These examples explain the processing workflow. Specific accounting treatment and required professional review depend on the document, context and settings.

04 — Connected work

Processed data leads to a meaningful next step.

Answers and reminders become useful when connected to documents and business records. Conversation and automation can then help with actual business work.

  1. Information when you need it

A business question brings you back to the data available in Papiri.

  2. Attention where something is missing

Tasks, notifications and reminders point to an obligation, document or reply that needs your attention.

  3. A person for exceptions

Incomplete information and professional decisions have a place in further work with your accountant.
